Retail Sales Assistant – Full & Part Time

Location: Hope Valley Saddlery, Somerford Park Farm
Hours: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Positions Available: Full Time & Part Time

Hope Valley Saddlery is a busy, well-established equestrian and country retail store based at Somerford Park Farm. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistants to join our team.

If you have a passion for customer service, enjoy working as part of a team, and have an interest in equestrian or country lifestyle products, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service and advice.
• Assisting customers with product selection and purchases.
• Operating the till and handling transactions.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
• Keeping the store clean, organised and welcoming.
• Supporting with deliveries and general day-to-day store duties.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, approachable and confident with customers.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• An interest or knowledge of equestrian products would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Working Hours

• Store opening hours: 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• All roles require working one weekend day each week.
