1- Customer Service Adviser At Our New Head Office In Buxton

As one of the UK's leading Equestrian Online retailers, Hope Valley are committed to delivering a high standard of Customer Service that exceeds customer expectations. We currently require a Full Time Customer Service Team Member with Equestrian knowledge an advantage but not essential. This role is Sunday to Thursday 9am-5pm .

Roles and responsibilities of the Job:

1. Dealing with the queries by phone:
    • General product enquiries
    • Customer order enquiries
    • New Customer orders
    • Liaising with Suppliers and Couriers
    • Managing the Office Voicemail and ensuring follow through on messages
2. Responding to E-Mails:
    • Customer order enquiries
    • Supplier queries
    • General product enquiries
The Person

An excellent level of written (typed) English.
This job involves writing to customers via E-Mail and messaging. It is important that you are able to type quickly and efficiently with the quality of spelling, grammar and vocabulary to a high standard.

A Good Phone Manner
A patient phone manner with a confident and clear voice is essential. The ability to execute this in a busy office environment is essential. Correct English is a must for the role as we need to present a professional image to our Customers at all times.

The ability to Multi-Task under Pressure
You need to be able to figure out what is urgent and what is less urgent and manage your workload accordingly.

The ability to communicate with Colleagues
Efficient, quick and clear communication with other team members is essential.

Job Type: Full-time position Sunday to Thursday.

2 - Warehouse and Dispatch Sales Assistant - Part Time 3-4 Days - Somerford

As one of the UK's leading Equestrian Online retailers, Hope Valley are committed to delivering standard of Customer Service that exceeds customer expectations. We currently require a Part Time (3-4 days a week) Warehouseand Dispatch Team Member with a good level of Equestrian knowledge to help us to continue to achieve this.

This role will be based at our Somerford Park Store 09.00 – 17.30 and will include working a Weekend day, due to being open 7 days a week. Wage dependant on experience.

Roles and responsibilities of the Job:

Hope Valley is a fun and dynamic place to work - you can be asked to do all sorts of things that you might not always expect! However, the following items would always form the core part of your role within the business.

  1. Ensuring that listings are always up to date with correct stock levels and also pricing information
  2. Processing orders through our e-commence system
  3. Dispatching and shipping orders quickly,correctly and efficiently
  4. Engaging with customers in store, online and by telephone withproduct queries, returns cases, order queries

Full training will be given on the specialist software that we do use; however, the right candidate will find this easy to pick up.

The Person

A good level of Equestrian knowledge is essential for this role, along with the following attributes:

  1. An excellent level of written (typed) English.

As this job heavily involves writing to our very valued customers via E-Mail, it's important to us that you can not only type quickly and efficiently, but that the quality of spelling, grammar and vocabulary are to a high standard.

3 - Retail Assistants - Part & Weekend Staff - For Somerford Park

Part Time: 3 days a week

All positions include working a weekend day, every weekend

Location: Hope Valley Saddlery, Somerford Park Farm, CW12 4SW
Wage: Dependant on experience.

Main Tasks

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for designate areas of the shop, for you to keep clean, tidy, well stock and presented
  • Confidently meeting and greeting customers
  • Becoming highly knowledge about our brands enabling you to offer customers great service and assistance when looking for particular types of product.
  • Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
  • Serving on the till
  • Restocking the shop floor

The Person

We are looking for Staff with good equestrian knowledge who enjoy engaging with customers to provide an exceptional level of service and shopping experience. You will be a good listener and communicator, with a friendly and approachable manner. You must work to a high standard, be time conscious, be well presented with an enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude and are able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Full training will be provided on fitting safety wear, all technical products, and use of the till systems.
