We currently require a Full Time Customer Service Team Member with Equestrian knowledge an advantage but not essential. This role is Sunday to Thursday 9am-5pm .
Roles and responsibilities of the Job:
The following would form the core part of your role within the business.
1. Dealing with the queries by phone:
  • General product enquiries
  • Customer order enquiries
  • New Customer orders
  • Liaising with Suppliers and Couriers
  • Managing the Office Voicemail and ensuring follow through on messages
2. Responding to E-Mails:
  • Customer order enquiries
  • Supplier queries
  • General product enquiries
The Person
1. An excellent level of written (typed) English.
This job involves writing to customers via E-Mail and messaging. It is important that you are able to type quickly and efficiently with the quality of spelling, grammar and vocabulary to a high standard.
2. A Good Phone Manner
A patient phone manner with a confident and clear voice is essential. The ability to execute this in a busy office environment is essential. Correct English is a must for the role as we need to present a professional image to our Customers at all times.
3. The ability to Multi-Task under Pressure
You need to be able to figure out what is urgent and what is less urgent and manage your workload accordingly.
4. The ability to communicate with Colleagues
Efficient, quick and clear communication with other team members is essential.
Job Type: Full-time position Sunday to Thursday.

This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Saddle Fitter to join the Hope Valley Saddlery Team,to lead agrowing department within a successful and well established business.

We offer a mobile saddle fitting service as well as having excellent on-site facilities to carry out fittings.  The ideal candidate would be a qualified bench saddler who also has extensive saddle fitting experience, ideally being a QSF, however we would consider a candidate who does not currently hold a qualification if they can demonstrate good saddle fitting knowledge.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work on their own as well as part of a small team, with exceptionalcustomer service skills.  The position will involve both bench saddlery work and saddle fitting. 

Hours negotiable;thisposition could be available on a full time or part time basis - finding the right person is paramount.  We will provide access to an expansive stock range as well as a well-equippedcompany vehicle for saddle fitting appointments.

Pay based on experience and qualifications.Position is based at ourSomerford Park Farm Store,Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 4SW, however travelling to appointments each day is required.

Wage: Dependant on experience.

Main Tasks

Working in our large new Equestrian Store, based at Somerford Park near Congleton, the role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Confidently meeting and greeting customers
  • Becoming highly knowledge about our brands enabling you to offer customers great service and assistance when looking for particular types of product.
  • Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
  • Serving on the till
  • Restocking the shop floor

The Person

We are looking for Staff with good equestrian knowledge who enjoy engaging with customers to provide an exceptional level of service and shopping experience. You will be a good listener and communicator, with a friendly and approachable manner. You must work to a high standard, be time conscious, be well presented with an enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude and are able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Full training will be provided on fitting safety wear, all technical products, and use of the till systems.
