What is Horsepal?
Horsepal is a revolution in horse management. Developed by Horseware, this state of the art sensor is designed to fit into most Horseware blankets; and allows owners to monitor their horse's temperature and humidity from their mobile phone or desktop. Horsepal offers real time data, and stores the history of your horse's well-being.
How does it work?
Horsepal is very simple. Simply attach the sensor provided to your horse's blanket, by one of the methods shown in the instructional video. This sensor will monitor your horse's temperature and the humidity inside of the blanket, and collect data for you to download and review.
What's the benefit?
By collecting this data, you can monitor your horse's comfort levels and ensure you're blanketing your horse correctly. You can even add users, such as a barn manager, groom or family member, and have them send you data while you're travelling or away from the barn.
How can I access the data that the sensor collects?
Once you're within 30 feet of the sensor, you can use the Horsepal mobile app to connect to the sensor via bluetooth and download all the data the sensor has collected. You'll be able to access lots of information through the app, but you'll see even more if you log into the Horsepal website from your desktop.
Will I need to download data every day?
No - the sensor will hold up to 3 days of data, so you can download every 3 days to have consistent data on your horse.
What if my horse rolls? Will the sensor break?
No - if you attach the sensor in the correct place, it shouldn't be damaged when your horse rolls or lies down. For more info on attaching your Horsepal Sensor, watch our 'How to attach your Horsepal' video.
Will the sensor run out of battery?
The battery in each sensor is designed to run for 1-2 years, so you do not need to worry about changing the battery often.
Can I get the battery replaced?
Yes, replacement batteries are available.
Is the sensor waterproof?
Yes, but we recommend using it under a waterproof turnout rug, in wet conditions. For best protection, make sure your sensor is also in the Horsepal sensor bag provided.
Is there any additional functionality?
Yes, the Horsepal website also has a stable management function where you can track visits from your vet & farrier, record when horses were wormed, monitor their weight & general health, and more.
Can I change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Yes you can. It's very simple. Simply go into your setting section and you can change the temperature format quickly and easily.
Delivery costs are set at checkout, based on the delivery address and items purchased.

Delivery is usually made by Next Day Courier and must be signed for - if you won't be in to receive the delivery, you can specify a safe place or neighbour where your parcel can be left at checkout. If your parcel cannot be delivered within 2 attempts, redelivery charges may apply.
Please allow 3-5 days for dispatch and delivery. In the unlikely event your order could be delayed any longer than this for any reason, we will contact you by e-mail or phone.

Delivery by Courier to: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands is capped at £4.99 per order.
Other European Countries and Rest of the World - Variable
Delivery to European countries not included in the list above, together with Rest of the World deliveries (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, USA, South America, Canada etc...) is set at checkout and is variable. sometimes these costs may appear higher than the actual, so for an accurate postage quote to these countries, please e-mail email@example.com
If you're not satisfied with your goods for any reason, please return them in new condition within 3 Months of receipt and we will either exchange them or refund you.
Please note, the return postage and new outbound postage for an exchange, is to be covered by the buyer.
