With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Brand:Blue Chip Feed
Code:karma
Blue Chip Karma is a new complementary approach to helping highly strung, nervous or difficult horses and ponies to become more trainable and confident. Just 25ml given daily can have a positive influence on temperament and performance by minimising over-excitement, tension, anxiety and stress related behaviour.
Add Karma to your horse’s feed for a calming effect when:
- Travelling- On Box Rest- Hacking- Before A Competition
1 bottle = 40 x 25ml calms
Each Bottle Contains
Magnesium
Karma contains a superior, water-soluble form of magnesium that can be quickly absorbed into the blood stream. Magnesium is known as the anti-stress mineral. This key mineral is essential to the nervous system of the horse. Magnesium is used by the horse to regulate blood pressure to maintain a healthy, settled nervous system. It also helps to relax muscle. Magnesium is stored in the bones and in the gut. Many sources of magnesium available to the horse are insoluble and therefore unable to easily pass into the bloodstream. When stressed, horses can quickly use up their available stores of magnesium.
Vitamin C
Karma is enriched with Vitamin C. This antioxidant is vital to horses under stress from exercise, training, a new environment, a change in routine, diet or other events such as foaling, weaning and competing. Vitamin C helps to mop-up free radicals and so maintains health and assists the horse to overcome stressful situations. The Vitamin C in Karma is soluble and so rapidly absorbed by the horse.
L-tryptophan
Karma is enhanced with L-tryptophan. This essential amino acid is required for the formation of proteins and some hormones, including serotonin. Serotonin is the ‘feel-good’, ‘anti-stress’ hormone.
Niacin (Vitamin B3)
Niacin is a B complex vitamin required for optimum energy and protein utilisation, allowing energy to be channelled into the appropriate areas. The soluble source of niacin used in Karma is readily utilised by the horse.
Vanilla
Vanilla makes Karma smell and taste delicious for even the fussiest feeder.
Potassium Sorbate
Sorbate is a natural preservative found in fruits that keeps Karma in perfect condition.
Competitions
Karma can help the horse to relax and be less tense without affecting energy or stamina and so aids the horse in performing to its full potential.
Showing
Invaluable for the novice pony or horse and for one that knows its job too well. Also for those that are to be ridden by inexperienced or young riders.
Box rest
Many horses and ponies find box rest extremely stressful. Karma will help them to accept their confinement and so play a vital part in their recovery.
Sensible horses and ponies
Although originally developed for the more difficult equine, riders have also used it on their problem-free horses, and their performance and results have improved.
Mares
Many normally sweet-tempered mares become difficult when in season, but if fed Karma they are more likely to stay on an even keel. Weaning: Weaning can be a stressful time for both the mare and the foal; feed Karma to both, starting 2 weeks before weaning and continuing for 2 weeks after.
Hacking
Gradually helping build up confidence. The horse or pony may still respond to frightening objects and sudden movements, but the response will be less as their confidence grows.
Racing
Many horses lose the race before it’s run. Given Karma, horses may cope better with travelling, the parade ring and even the stalls, conserving their energy for the race itself. Clipping, the dentist and the farrier: Many horses get worried at these times. Double, or in really bad cases, treble the dose for 4 days prior, making sure the last dose is given at a quiet time, about 45 minutes before the appointment.
Transporting
Give 75 – 100ml 45 minutes before leaving; a top-up can be given during the journey in severe cases.
Stable vices
Give Karma daily. Horses may stop box walking, crib biting and weaving when calmer and less stressed.
Difficult temperament
Some horses are genetically predisposed to being difficult, others have good reason to be nappy, bad tempered and unpredictable after being mishandled. It is always worth giving them the benefit of the doubt and with patience, good training and handling, and with the help of modern nutrition, these horses now have the best chance to redeem themselves.
